Jesse Marsch wants to sign a striker before the end of the transfer window and Leeds have been looking at several options.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Arnaud Kalimuendo has been looked at but Leeds are not his priority this summer.

Leeds have also been looking at options in the Premier League and it has been claimed that they are lining up a move for Adams.

The Scotland striker is being considered a viable option by the Leeds manager, who wants a forward signed soon.

There are suggestions that Adams, who has been targeted by Leeds in the past, could be available for a move away from St. Mary’s Stadium this summer.

He has dropped down the pecking order at Southampton, which has given Leeds the opportunity to explore a potential deal.

It remains to be seen whether Southampton would be prepared to do business with a club who are expected to be in and around them in the league table next season.
