There is just over a week left in the transfer window and Nottingham Forest are still on the lookout for further additions to their squad despite being the busiest club in Premier League in terms of incomings this summer.

Manchester United starlet Garner impressed last season on loan at the City Ground and Forest have been looking to take him back during the ongoing window.

The 21-year-old was initially one of the Tricky Trees’ top targets, but they calmed their interest in him earlier in the window.

However, with the deadline looming closer, Nottingham Forest could approach the Red Devils again over a permanent move for Garner.

Manchester United are open to selling Garner and have slapped a £14m asking price on his head.

But the Nottinghamshire giants are not the only club keen on Garner as he is firmly on top flight rivals Everton’s radar in addition to Southampton.

The Toffees are open to selling a number of their midfielders and Garner is one player they are keeping an eye on to bolster that department.

Dele Alli is expected to depart Goodison Park and Everton could soon have substantial funds from selling Anthony Gordon.

It remains to be seen where Garner ends up playing this season while he is not a key part of Erik ten Hag’s plans at Old Trafford.
