The Hammers have targeted multiple options in the transfer window but they are yet to make a signing.

Truffert has emerged as a target for David Moyes as Aaron Cresswell has been tipped to be moving away this summer.

It has been suggested that the Irons are set to step up their interest in the 21-year-old French left-back.

Nottingham Forest are also looking to add more quality to their squad before the new season kicks off.

And they have identified Truffert as a potential option to bring in this summer to replace Renan Lodi.

However, both clubs are set to face disappointment in their Truffert chase, as the player has decided to extend his contract with Rennes, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

The left-sided full-back’s current contract is valid until 2025 and he is adding two more years to it with the extension.

Now it remains to be seen where the Premier League clubs turn their attention with Truffert deciding to stay put in France.
