Sasa Kalajdzic has claimed that he has Austria coach Ralf Rangnick’s blessing in joining Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Wolves in the ongoing transfer window.

The striker was a bit part player at Wolves in the first half of the season and the club allowed him to leave loan earlier this week.

He completed a move to Eintracht Frankfurt and will spend the rest of the season with the Bundesliga outfit.

Kalajdzic admitted that he spoke to Austria coach Rangnick about the move before finalising terms with Eintracht Frankfurt and conceded that the former Manchester United boss was not happy that he was not playing regularly at Wolves.

The forward stressed that the Austria coach supported the move and believed that a passionate and emotional club like Eintracht Frankfurt would suit his personality and playing style.

Kalajdzic told a press conference: “I told the team boss that I wanted to do something different.

“He also didn’t like that I was not playing.

“He said right away that the Frankfurt thing is cool and great.

“He thinks I will fit in well.

“He said that I am emotional as a player and a person and Frankfurt is the best place because it is an emotional club with many passionate fans.”

He has a contract until 2027 with Wolves and will be returning to Molineux in the summer.
