Crystal Palace could announce the appointment of Oliver Glasner as their new manager after their game against Everton tonight, according to the BBC.

The Eagles are going through a terrible run of form, which has seen them win only two games out of their last 13 league fixtures.

Crystal Palace contacted former Eintracht Frankfurt coach Glasner in the hope of replacing Roy Hodgson at Selhurst Park.

However, last week, the 76-year-old tactician fell ill and the Crystal Palace hierarchy were left with a delicate situation.

It has been suggested that Crystal Palace have managed to strike a deal with the former Eintracht Frankfurt coach though.

And the 49-year-old Austrian was spotted during Tottenham Hotspur’s game against Wolves at the weekend.

It has been claimed that his appointment could be made official after Crystal Palace’s match against Everton tonight.

Glasner will be eager to take over as soon as possible and Crystal Palace have now confirmed Hodgson’s exit.
