Crystal Palace have confirmed the exit of experienced coach Ray Lewington, as Oliver Glasner brings in his own staff.

Lewington, a key ally of former Palace boss Roy Hodgson, was jointly in charge of the side for their game against Everton on Monday night.

It has proven to be his final appearance in a Crystal Palace dugout though, with the club confirming his exit.

Lewington had three spells at Selhurst Park and now departs the club with Glasner putting his stamp on the backroom staff.

The German has brought with him Michael Angerschmid, Ronald Brunmayr, Emanuel Pogatetz and Michael Berktold.

Brunmayr is to serve as Glasner’s assistant at Palace, along with Angerschmid.

From within the club, Dean Kiely is continuing in his role of goalkeeper coach.

Paddy McCarthy is an assistant coach to Glasner.

Crystal Palace will be hoping that their decision to appoint Glasner as boss pays off.
