Archie Gray has already completed part of his medical ahead of completing a move to Tottenham Hotspur from Leeds United this summer, according to Sky Sports News.

Gray underwent a medical with Brentford on Saturday night, but Leeds rejected the bid from the London club later due to disagreements over the payment structure.

Brentford remained calm about the situation but Tottenham jumped into the mix to try and sign the midfielder once his move to the Bees fell through.

Tottenham held talks with the 18-year-old midfielder and his camp on Sunday to sell him a move to the north London club.

It has been claimed that Leeds are now close to agreeing on a deal for Gray’s transfer to Tottenham in the ongoing transfer window.

The teenage midfielder has also been put through his paces for the first part of his medical at Tottenham.

Tottenham are making rapid progress towards finalising the terms of a deal with Leeds for Gray’s transfer this summer.

The north London club are now confident that Gray will become a Tottenham player in the coming days.
