Leyton Orient boss Richie Wellens is clear ahead of the clash against Bristol Rovers that his side know all about Gas’ stars Shaqai Forde and Ruel Sotiriou and believes that both of them could play at a high level.

Last season, Sotiriou and Forde played for Leyton Orient and impressed as both players in total contributed 26 goals for the club.

In the summer, Bristol Rovers, in order to strengthen their forward department, signed Sotiriou on a free transfer and landed Forde from Championship outfit Watford.

Now tonight both players are set to face their old team Leyton Orient as Bristol Rovers are set to take on Wellens’ side in League One.

Wellens, who coached both players last season, added that he knows all about Forde and Sotiriou and stressed that if both young players keep improving, then they have a chance of playing at a high level in the future.

“We know what Ruel and Shaq can do”, Wellens told Leyton Orient TV.

“The two players, both of them, scored eleven goals for us last year.

“Had really good spells in the season and both young players, if they can continue the improvement they have a chance of going on in their careers and playing at a high level.”

Forde and Sotiriou have yet to replicate last season’s form in the colours of Bristol Rovers this season and they will be hoping to impress against their former club tonight.
