The agent of Tottenham Hotspur midfield target Amadou Diawara has denied being in talks with the north London club or any other outfit regarding his client’s future.

The defensive midfielder, who joined Napoli from Bologna in 2016, has been linked with a move away from the San Paolo ahead of the end of the current season.

Tottenham were reportedly in negotiations with his representatives and there are also suggestions that Arsenal have also joined the transfer chase ahead of the summer window.

However, his agent, Daniele Piraino, insisted that Diawara is firmly focused on helping Napoli overcome Juventus in the fight for the league title and is not thinking about a transfer.

He also claimed that he is neither in talks with Tottenham nor any other club for that matter, with regards to a potential transfer for his client in the summer transfer window.

“There is no release clause in his contract, neither for Italian teams or abroad.

“And there are no negotiations with Tottenham or any other English or European teams.”

Diawara has a contract until 2021 with the Serie A giants.
