Martial has made it clear that he wants to leave Manchester United in the winter transfer and has already spoken to Ralf Rangnick about departing Old Trafford.

A move to Sevilla on loan appeals to him, but Manchester United recently rejected an offer from the Spanish club for the Frenchman.

Sevilla are yet to return with a fresh offer and there is intrigue on where the Frenchman could end up before the window ends this month.

Newcastle have been linked with an interest in Martial and it has been claimed that the club are monitoring his situation.

The Magpies were not originally looking to bring in a forward but Callum Wilson’s injury has changed their plans.

An attacker is on their agenda this month and Martial is being looked at as an option by Newcastle.

Manchester United have made it clear that they will only consider loan offers that would cover all of Martial’s wages and a considerable loan fee.

Newcastle have the funds to meet those demands and it remains to be seen whether they will eventually make a move for the Frenchman this month.
