Gakpo has been heavily linked with a move away from PSV all summer, but he is still at the club with three weeks left in the window.

Leeds United, who want another option in the final third, have been strongly linked with interest in Gakpo, with the player admitting there has been contact.

Nottingham Forest are also pushing to sign Gakpo and have sent an offer to him, but the winger will not be leaving PSV imminently.

According to local Dutch daily the Eindhovens Dagblad, Gakpo has put the questions over his future on standby for the moment.

The winger wants to focus on getting PSV into the group stage of the Champions League before considering his future.

The Dutch giants will be in action tonight in the second leg of their Champions League third qualifying round against Monaco at home.

If they manage to get through, PSV would still have to negotiate a playoff round before they can hope to play in the group stage.

Gakpo’s future is unlikely to be unresolved until the end of the window if PSV reach the playoff round.

PSV want around €40m before agreeing to sell him but for the moment there are no advanced negotiations.
