Rangers out on loan attacker Sam Lammers has revealed that the Gers have not been in touch with him for the last six months.

The Scottish giants sent out Lammers on loan to Utrecht in the January transfer window and the Dutchman is displaying incredible form for the Eredivisie outfit.

Lammers has netted ten goals in 18 league games for Utrecht which has helped them reach the Europa Conference League playoffs.

The Dutch outfit want to keep Lammers at the club beyond this season and AZ Alkmaar are also showing interest in signing the Rangers loan star.

Lammers revealed that Rangers have not contacted him for the last six months and added that he will have a discussion with the Ibrox outfit over his future at the end of the season.

When asked about his future at Rangers, Lammers told Dutch daily De Telegraaf:“That is where I am under contract and who I will be the first to talk to.

“I haven’t really been in touch with Rangers for the past six months.

“After this season, we will have conversations.”

Lammers has three more years left on his Rangers contract and the Gers are tipped to want to sell him, with his form at Utrecht helping to make him more attractive for buyers.
