Sheffield Wednesday are now close to reaching an agreement to hold on to Danny Rohl, according to BBC Radio Sheffield.
More talks took place between the Sheffield Wednesday ownership and Rohl in London on Wednesday.
The Wednesday manager managed to keep the club in the Championship against all odds but has been keen to get assurances over several factors before committing his future to the club.
Negotiations have been progressing well towards a new deal as Rohl looks for the club to match his ambition.
And it has been claimed that a deal is now close to getting agreed upon between the German and the Championship side.
The talks have reached the final stages as Sheffield Wednesday close in on keeping hold of their manager next season.
Sheffield Wednesday have been mindful of the fact that Rohl has been attracting interest from clubs in England and abroad.
However, it seems now likely that Rohl will be in the home dugout at Hillsborough at the start of next season.
