Rangers have rejected a loan offer from Norwich City for winger Rabbi Matondo, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The Wales international has been linked with a move away from Rangers in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Leeds United previously showed some interest in him but they seem to have moved on to other targets.

A few more clubs in the Championship are also interested in him with Norwich moving in with a bid to take him to Carrow Road.

However, it has been claimed that Rangers knocked back the loan offer from the Championship club for the winger.

Rangers are open to offers for Matondo as Philippe Clement needs to shift a few players before he can bring in new names.

But it is unlikely that the Glasgow giants are prepared to entertain loan offers given they need cash.

It remains to be seen whether Norwich return with a fresh offer for the Rangers winger ahead of Friday’s deadline.

Blackburn Rovers are also among the clubs who are exploring signing Matondo in the next 48 hours.
