With the arrival of Luca Toni to Serie A side AS Roma, 20-year-old Stefano Okaka is deliberating a move to English club Fulham, who have recently shown interest in sealing a loan deal. The Italian youngster has caught the eye of Roy Hodgson, who is keen to add to his attacking options.

If Roma talks with Fulham and there are no problems and an agreement is reached we’ll then speak with Fulham,” Okaka’s agent, Domenico Scopelliti said to calciomercato.it. "The deal will be a possible loan for six or 18 months. Fulham’s a great opportunity and Okaka would prefer this over Serie A options. Fulham were watching him last season and manager Roy Hodgson on several occasions reiterated his admiration of the player.”

Portsmouth are believed to be tracking the player as well, but because of their unstable financial situation, are unlikely to be preferred by the promising striker.
