French champions Lille are considering swooping on Ajax for striker Mounir El Hamdaoui.
The 27-year-old Moroccan striker can leave Ajax after failing to make too much of an impact at the Amsterdam ArenA since his switch from AZ last year.
Indeed, several sides have been linked with El Hamdaoui throughout the summer and it does appear just a matter of time until the forward inks a deal away from his Eredivisie side.
And the latest side to express an interest is Lille.
Ajax are hoping to sell El Hamdaoui for around €5M before the summer transfer window shuts and that is an amount Lille would have little difficulty finding.
Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor also continue to keep tabs on the striker.
