Former Rangers player Gus MacPherson believes that new club signing Nicky Clark can make a big mark with the Ibrox giants.
The 21-year-old Scottish striker was snapped up by the Gers on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract with Queen of the South, at the end of last season.
Clark – who penned a three-year contract with the Scottish heavyweights – netted an incredible 41 goals in all competitions in the 2012/13 season, as the Doonhammers were crowned the Scottish Second Division Champions.
MacPherson explains that the player is technically very good as well as an all-round player, whom fans will enjoy watching.

“He’s technically very good and he works extremely hard for the team so an all-round player is there and fans should look forward to seeing him perform”, the former Queen of the South manager told Rangers’ official site.
“I’m sure Nicky will want to make an impact in the pre-season and show not only the Rangers supporters but the Rangers staff what they have got to work with.”
Clark is one of the seven players snapped up by Ally McCoist’s side this summer. However, the registration of the players with the club can only take place after Rangers’ transfer embargo is lifted on 1st September.
Clark started his youth career with Aberdeen, and played for Queen of the South between 2011 and 2013.
Rangers will play in the Scottish Second Division in the upcoming season. They clinched promotion last season after winning the Third Division title.
