The agent of Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto has given Liverpool hope over signing his client by denying that a deal for the player to join Juventus is done and dusted.
Neto has refused to extend his contract with Fiorentina and will depart the club in the summer in search of a new challenge.
It had been assumed that Neto was all set to link up with Serie A champions Juventus, despite being mooted as a target for Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool. But not so says his agent, who insists that a number of proposals are still being actively considered by his client, even though he will not reveal which clubs are in the mix.
"Juventus? The guy decides in the next few months where to go", Stefano Castagna told Sky Italia.
"There are several teams interested in him, but I do not like to name names", he added.

The agent also claimed that Neto will continue to give his all for Vincenzo Montella's men right through to the final day of his contract.
"Neto is an incredible professional", he explained.
"In his five years at Fiorentina he has always given his best in every training session.
"And it will continue to be like this until the end of the season."
Neto joined Fiorentina from Brazilian side Atletico Paranaense in 2011.
The 25-year-old is still awaiting his first senior Brazil cap.
