Tottenham Hotspur starlet Harry Kane believes that there is still a long way to go before the season comes to a close and Mauricio Pochettino’s side need to get over their League Cup loss and push forward in the Premier League.
Spurs lost 2-0 to Chelsea in the League Cup final at Wembley on Sunday and are due to play Swansea City at White Hart Lane tonight.
Kane has been Spurs’ standout player this campaign, having scored 24 goals so far in all competitions. His 14 goals and four assists in the league have helped the north Londoners climb to seventh in the table and mount a serious challenge for a spot in the Champions League.
With the League Cup defeat in the past, the 21-year-old has urged his team to continue their strong league showing, which has seen them lose only once in their last five outings.
“There is still a long way to go in the season and we have to dust ourselves down as quickly as possible and move on”, Kane told the club site.
