Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has insisted that he has made up with Diego Costa after the pair were spotted arguing during the Blues’ 4-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League last night.

Mourinho was visually displeased with Costa’s performance in the first half at the Sammy Ofer Stadium and the striker also gave the Portuguese a piece of his mind.

However, the manager explained that he and Diego Costa had "a few kisses and cuddles" during the half-time interval.

"I was disappointed. I reacted and he reacted too", Mourinho was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"At half-time in the dressing room there were a few kisses and a few cuddles."

Following his successful debut season at Stamford Bridge last term, Costa has struggled for form in the current campaign.

The Spain international netted the winner in the 1-0 win over Norwich City at the weekend to end his six-game goalscoring drought.

Costa, whose present contract with Chelsea runs until 2017, has managed to score just four goals in 16 appearances in all competitions for the London outfit this season.
