Manchester United Under-21 starlet Josh Harrop insists that facing rivals Liverpool is always special and it won't be any different next Monday.
The Warren Joyce managed side suffered a 2-0 defeat against Norwich City at Carrow Road earlier this week, a loss that pushes them back to tenth spot in the Under-21 Premier League Division One table with seven points from four matches.
For the team defending their title, digesting a loss won't be easy, and the 18-year-old's words reflect a similar kind of sentiment.
Speaking to his club's official website, the youngster stated that his team do not go into any match thinking that a match at Under-21 level is not significant, On the contrary, the desire is always to win and it will be the same against Liverpool.
"What we want to do is remain Under-21 champions", Harrop told the club's official website.

"We never go into games thinking it's just the Under-21s, we go into them to win. There's a great atmosphere among the lads and we want to win every game we play."
Speaking in particular about the upcoming Liverpool game, the 18-year-old added that being a Manchester United fan and a player, it will always be a big match for him, one that he will definitely want to twin.
"It's always a good game against Liverpool. They're always feisty and a few fans will come down to watch.
"I've played Liverpool in loads of matches as I've been here since I was nine – we've had some battles and a few of the players are still there who I played against when I was young.
"As a United fan and a United player, it's always big to play against Liverpool with the rivalry between both teams being quite fierce. It's built into you at a young age and everyone will be up for it."
