Moriba has refused to sign a new contract with Barcelona and the standoff between the two camps has seen him frozen out of the first team at the Camp Nou.
His representatives have been trying to find a new club for him and several sides have been credited with an interest, including Chelsea.
But Tottenham have emerged as the favourites to sign the 18-year-old midfielder from Barcelona.
And according to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are now braced for an offer from the north London club which they feel could arrive within the next few hours.
Tottenham were reportedly unwilling to meet his agent’s demands but it seems the issues are being sorted out.
It is claimed that Tottenham are now all but have an agreement with Moriba on personal terms.
Barcelona want €20m for Moriba and Tottenham are believed to be prepared to pay it.
Moriba featured regularly for Barcelona in La Liga since he broke into the team in the latter half of last season.
