The Gabon international’s future at Arsenal has been under the scanner, having lost his place in the fist team squad owing to disciplinary reasons.

Aubameyang was stripped of the armband by boss Mikel Arteta and he has been ordered to train alone, with Arsenal open to letting him leave in this window.

The north London giants received an offer from Saudi Arabia side Al-Hilal last week for Aubameyang, but the player made it clear he only wants to move to a top club playing in Europe.

And Spanish giants Barcelona and Serie A heavyweights Juventus have now opened talks with the Gunners over a loan move for the hitman.

Both the Blaugrana and the Bianconeri want to sign Aubameyang on a temporary basis for the remainder of the season.

The striker is among the highest earners at Arsenal, pocketing £350,000 a week and negotiations are expected to be focused on his wages and the duration of the deal.

Barcelona are also trying to rope in Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, who is on loan at Juventus and if they snap up the Spaniard Aubameyang is likely to join the Turin side.

And if Morata stays at the Allianz Stadium, then the Arsenal star could find himself moving to the Camp Nou in the coming days.
