Leeds signed Aaronson last summer but despite being a regular in the team, he has rarely produced for the Whites this season.

His lack of effectiveness in the final third has been one of the contributing factors to Leeds getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the campaign.

The Whites are staring at a major overhaul this summer and the United States international is one of the players who could go.

And it has been claimed that his departure is likely to be far less tricky due to a relegation clause in his contract.

His agent negotiated such a clause with Leeds last summer and that is now likely to come to his aid if he wants to move on.

The midfielder’s suitors will only need to trigger the clause in his contract to open contract talks with Aaronson.

No concrete talks are happening at the moment, but it is claimed that Aaronson’s relegation clause is expected to be triggered this summer.
