The Tractor Boys hosted Premier League side Wolves on Tuesday night in the EFL Cup and won the match 3-2 after trailing in the match by two goals.

27-year-old Harness played a massive part in all three goals for the Tractor Boys as he got assists for all of them.

Harness admitted that some players, including him, want to play a lot more and they want to keep the cup run going to get more minutes under their belt.

He stressed that even though he is not a starter in the league games for Kieran McKenna, he is happy to be part of the team.

“Obviously, there’s a lot of us in there that want to be playing more often”, Harness told Ipswich’s media.

“And it’s nice to win these cup games so we can get a chance to play games.

“But even when you’re not playing it’s just a great group to be a part of and we’re all pushing each other.

“And we’ll just see what we can do and see how long we can keep this going.”

Harness will have a case to start against Huddersfield Town on Saturday after his cup performance against Wolves.
