The midfielder hardly played in Manchester City’s treble-winning season last year and is having a similar campaign this term too.

He has made just four Premier League appearances, all coming from the bench with another three substitute appearances in the Champions League.

The midfielder had options to leave in the summer but decided against moving from Manchester City.

But that is likely to change in January and according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset (via Tutto Juve), Manchester City are open to accepting loan offers for him.

Phillips is keen to move on to a team where he plays more regularly than Manchester City.

Juventus are interested and their technical team have already met the entourage of the player.

Manchester City are prepared to let the midfielder spend the second half of the season on loan.

The England international is also believed to be interested in a loan move to Juventus in January.
