The defender missed the start of the season due to an injury but has not played a league game since recovering from the problem.

His only appearance this season has come in the EFL Cup and he has been an unused substitute for Chelsea in the last four Premier League games.

The defender’s lack of game time at Chelsea has encouraged clubs to probe whether he could be available for a move in January.

He has already been on the radar of Juventus and according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are also interested in the centre-back.

The Rossoneri are looking at adding defensive reinforcements to their squad in the winter transfer window.

Badiashile is one of the centre-backs the Serie A giants are looking closely at ahead of January.

If his game time remains sparse at Chelsea, AC Milan are hopeful that the defender will be open to a move in the coming months.

The Rossoneri are only likely to make a loan offer if they try and sign the Frenchman in the winter window.
