Portsmouth are the only team unbeaten in the top three divisions and they are at the top of the League One table with 36 points from 16 games.
John Mousinho’s side will take on Blackpool, who they have not defeated in their last four encounters, at the weekend at Fratton Park.
Dale, who spent last season on loan with Pompey, stated that he is not surprised by Mousinho’s side’s brilliant start to the season, as he is aware of the quality Portsmouth have.
However, the Blackpool star insisted that the Tangerines will not come to Fratton Park with fear and doubts in their mind and stressed that they will try to stamp their authority on the game to try to win it.
When asked whether he was surprised by Portsmouth’s impressive start to the season, Dale was quoted as saying by the Blackpool Gazette: “No. We did that when I was there.
“We went 10 games unbeaten, I think.
“They’ve got a lot of quality but so have we and we won’t go there with any fear or doubt.
“We’ll go there and try and put our stamp on the game and try and win it.”
Portsmouth drew their last game against Charlton Athletic 2-2 and they will be looking to bounce back to winning ways against Blackpool on Saturday.
