West Ham United star Conor Coventry is on the transfer wish list of Derby County and Peterborough United, according to the Sunday Mirror

The 23-year-old defensive midfielder is a product of the West Ham United academy system and spent the second half of last season at Rotherham United on loan.

Coventry has made ten senior appearances for West Ham in his career, but this season has failed to get into David Moyes’ first-team plans.

Charlton are monitoring his situation and Michael Appleton is keen to bring the defensive midfielder to the Valley this summer.

Now it has been claimed that Charlton’s League One rivals Derby County and Peterborough also have Coventry on their transfer wish list.

Derby and Peterborough are both eyeing promotion to the Championship this season and want to strengthen their midfield by adding the West Ham star to their squad.

Coventry might leave after the Hammers’ FA Cup fixture against Bristol City at the weekend.

Now it remains to be seen who among Charlton, Derby and Peterborough will be able to secure Coventry’s signature in the ongoing transfer window.
