Galatasaray will continue to push Rangers to loan out Ridvan Yilmaz and believe that with the defender convinced of the move they can succeed.

Rangers have already turned down a loan offer from Galatasaray for Yilmaz and are reluctant to sanction a temporary move to Turkey for the player.

Galatasaray are not giving up though and believe that they can strike a loan deal with Rangers for the left-back.

According to Turkish daily Sabah, Galatasaray have convinced Yilmaz about the move and it has strengthened their view that Rangers will sign off on a loan.

Yilmaz has been pleased with Galatasaray’s insistence on signing him and is happy to join on loan.

He feels back in Istanbul he will get the game time he needs ahead of Euro 2024.

Yilmaz is determined to turn out for Turkey at the tournament and knows he needs to be playing regularly.

Rangers are on the hunt for another left-back, but the jury is out on whether they will sign off on a loan for Yilmaz.
