Sevilla are continuing efforts to beat Nottingham Forest to the signature of Borussia Dortmund’s Gio Reyna, according to the Guardian.

Reyna is expected to move on from Dortmund before the transfer window slams shut on Thursday evening.

Nottingham Forest want to scoop Reyna up, but are facing big competition from Spain in the shape of Sevilla.

Sevilla are looking to shift players to push forward their move and are continuing their efforts to do so.

Reyna, 22, has made ten appearances in the Bundesliga so far this season, spanning just 246 minutes of football.

He is looking to make sure he is featuring on a more regular basis over the second half of the campaign.

The US international has 89 outings in the Bundesliga to his name in total, with 13 goals and eleven assists.

Reyna’s current deal at Dortmund is due to run through until the summer of 2025.
