Nottingham Forest are keen on Atalanta full-back Brandon Soppy, who is currently on loan at Torino, but could see his stint being cut short there, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira.

Owing to financial fair play regulations, the Tricky Trees have refrained from spending in the January transfer market.

Nottingham Forest want to do business though and they are now looking at some last-minute moves.

Adding a full-back is a possibility and Nottingham Forest have their eyes on Atalanta’s Soppy as an option.

Soppy though is currently out on loan at fellow Serie A club Torino, where he has found his chances limited and is not currently part of manager Ivan Juric’s plans.

He could be sent back to his parent club from where Nottingham Forest would hope to sign him on a loan deal.

It remains to be seen though whether a deal for the full-back can be concluded in time as the transfer window closes on Thursday.

Soppy, 21, has only made five appearances in Serie A for Torino so far this season and would be looking to play far more if he is to agree to move elsewhere.
