Birmingham City are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper before the transfer window slams shut, according to the Daily Mail.

Blues boss Tony Mowbray is determined to make sure he covers all bases for the second half of the campaign.

And the Birmingham manager is keen to strengthen his options between the sticks before the window shuts on Thursday night.

Birmingham are currently looking to bring in a new goalkeeper before the transfer window closes.

It is unclear if Blues are looking at a short-term or long-term option to come to St Andrew’s.

Birmingham currently sit a lowly 20th in the Championship standings and are focused on survival for now.

Mowbray’s men have conceded 44 goals in just 28 Championship matches so far.

They are next in action this weekend when they are due to play playoff contenders West Brom at the Hawthorns.
