Nottingham Forest are prepared to accept loan offers for Leeds United target Joe Worrall on deadline day, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Worrall is the club captain at Nottingham Forest but has played very little football in the Premier League this season.

Forest have been open to letting him go but were insistent that they were keen to sell him rather than accept a loan offer.

They slapped a £6m asking price on him in the ongoing window but their stance has changed on deadline day

Nottingham Forest are now ready to sanction a loan move for the centre-back in the final hours of the winter transfer window.

The Premier League club are keen to move him on before the transfer window closes tonight.

Leeds and Sheffield United are interested in getting their hands on the defender if he is available for a loan move.

However, if the Blades sign Mason Holgate on loan from Everton today that would not leave any space to secure a deal for Worrall.

It could leave Leeds with a clear run at signing the Forest defender if they decide to make a move for him today.
