Norwich City are doing their due diligence should they decide to part ways with David Wagner at some point, with Arsenal coach Carlos Cuesta rated, according to the Press Association.

Canaries boss Wagner appeared to be on the brink of being sacked earlier this season following a terrible run of form.

He has turned things around at Carrow Road however and now has Norwich sitting just outside a playoff spot in the Championship.

Norwich are keen to make sure they are prepared for the possibility they may part ways with Wagner though.

And the Canaries are doing due diligence ahead of bringing in a new boss, with Arsenal’s Cuesta someone they like.

Cuesta is highly rated and it is suggested he will wait until the summer to look at his options, but there has been dialogue with Norwich.

Norwich are not the only side showing interest in Cuesta.

The Canaries are next due to play host to Cardiff City in the Championship before then travelling to lock horns with Blackburn Rovers in what is their final game in February.
