Southampton out on loan hitman Paul Onuachu is determined to get back fit from injury to take part in Trabzonspor’s big clash against Fenerbahce.
Saints loaned out Onuachu to Trabzonspor last summer following the club’s relegation from the Premier League and he is in the process of hugely boosting his value in Turkey.
Since joining the Turkish outfit, Onuachu has been in impressive form, scoring nine goals in 17 league games.
During the Turkish Cup game against Basaksehir, the centre forward suffered a fracture in his forearm.
It was suggested that the Southampton loanee might be out of action until early April.
Trabzonspor lost their last league game against Alanyaspor and they are set to face Turkish giants Fenerbahce next weekend.
Now, according to Turkish daily Star, Onuachu is ready to do anything possible to get fit before Trabzonspor’s big game against Fenerbahce.
However, it is unlikely that the Southampton loanee will be able to feature in the game next weekend.
His desire to return quickly though is again winning him fans in Turkey.
Onuachu has impressed the Trabzonspor hierarchy with his performances and it has been suggested that they want to make his loan move permanent.
