Ipswich Town target Joe Rodon is poised to make the move to Leeds United as part of Tottenham Hotspur’s swoop for Archie Gray, according to talkSPORT.

The centre-back spent last term on loan at Leeds and formed a solid defensive partnership with Ethan Ampadu.

He has been expected to move on from Tottenham this summer, with Ipswich having made a verbal offer on Sunday, but Elland Road looks to be his destination.

Spurs are in the process of concluding a deal with Leeds to sign Whites star Gray and he has had part of his medical.

Now it has emerged that Leeds are poised to take Rodon the other way as part of the agreement.

Whether the move will be a permanent one or another loan for the defender remains to be seen.

Rodon was happy at Leeds during his loan stint and looks content to move to the Whites once again.

Adding Rodon will boost Daniel Farke’s defensive options next term as Leeds look to make sure they win promotion from the Championship.
