AC Milan are wary of ‘Liverpool above all’ in their bid to sign now free agent Adrien Rabiot.

The French midfielder’s contract at Juventus has now ended and although the Bianconeri are making attempts to keep him, he is available on a free transfer.

AC Milan spot an opportunity and are making a solid attempt to try to convince him to head to the San Siro.

Premier League sides are also attentive to Rabiot’s status though and, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, ‘Liverpool above all’ are the side AC Milan are wary of from England.

The Reds are expected to strengthen their squad this summer and Thiago Alcantara is departing Anfield.

That could open up a slot for Rabiot to go into in Arne Slot’s squad.

Rabiot also being available on a free transfer could further tempt Liverpool to try to land him.

Despite regularly being linked with moves to the Premier League, the 29-year-old has yet to sample English football.

He has played for just three clubs during his career – Paris Saint-Germain, Toulouse and Juventus.
