Borussia Dortmund coach Nuri Sahin is ready to give his consent to Niclas Fullkrug’s departure amidst West Ham United’s interest in signing him, according to the Daily Mirror.

West Ham have been growing confident of getting a deal done to sign the 31-year-old Germany international striker this summer.

Fullkrug is open to the move and the Hammers have been making progress in talks with Dortmund over a deal.

While the structure of a deal and personal terms are yet to be finalised, West Ham are optimistic that a deal could be in place in the coming days.

It has been claimed that Sahin is also prepared to green-light the forward’s departure this summer.

The Dortmund coach is comfortable with the striker options he has in his squad ahead of the new season.

Dortmund are expected to sanction his sale once they get a deal worth €20m from his departure.

West Ham are pushing to find an agreement for Fullkrug and has put the negotiations with Aston Villa for Jhon Duran on the backburner.
