Norwich City winger Jonathan Rowe is to fly to Marseille this morning to complete a move to the French side.

Marseille have beaten off competition from Leeds United and several other clubs to win the race for Rowe this summer.

The Ligue 1 side have an agreement in place with Norwich on the basis of a season-long loan deal, along with an obligation to buy.

When Rowe joins Marseille permanently, Norwich will receive a fee of €14m, while the agreement also has €2m in add-ons included.

Rowe is expected in Marseille this lunchtime after getting a flight this morning, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

The Ligue 1 side will then put him through his medical examinations before completing the signing of the winger.

Landing Rowe is yet another show of faith from Marseille in new boss Roberto De Zerbi, who has been backed heavily this summer.

Marseille have so far brought in nine signings for De Zerbi, with Rowe in line to be the tenth.
