Nottingham Forest have put an offer of €10m on the table to land a midfielder before the transfer window closes on Friday night.

The City Ground outfit are showing no signs of easing down on their transfer activity as deadline day draws closer.

Nuno is determined to make sure he has a squad to see him through until January and signing a striker has been a priority.

Forest are also looking to bolster midfield though and are keen on Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove.

Bove, who is also wanted by PAOK Salonika, is a player Roma are happy to part with if the deal is right.

Now, according to Italian daily Il Tempo, Nottingham Forest have put an offer of around €10m on the table for Bove.

Roma would prefer to sell Bove rather than loan him, but it is unclear if they will consider €10m to be enough.

It is though a statement of intent on the part of the City Ground side as the race for Bove heats up.
