Maicon’s agent has said that it is too early to predict what may happen in the summer transfer market regarding his client.
The Brazilian full back is under contract with Inter until 2012 and recently declared his intention to continue in Italy, however former coach Jose Mourinho is known to remain keen to take him to Real Madrid.
And while Inter would be reluctant to lose Maicon, the player’s agent Antonio Caliendo stated it is too soon to predict what will happen either way.
"At the moment, there has been some contact with Real Madrid", admitted Caliendo, before adding, "but we need to wait a month to understand the shape of the market next summer."
It is believed that, should Maicon wish to head to the Spanish capital, Los Blancos will need to find at least €25M to tempt Inter into parting with the player.
