One of the candidates to become the next president of Sporting Lisbon has his eye on Real Madrid winger Pedro Leon.
A report from A Bola suggests that Pedro Baltazar, who is keen to be voted Sporting president in the club’s poll later this month, met Real Madrid supremo Florentino Perez, and Pedro Leon was discussed an an option if Baltazar triumphed in the election.
Leon is expected to depart Los Blancos in the summer in search of more regular first team football. A loan has been mooted and seems the most likely option, with Sporting Lisbon a very concrete possibility.
