Former Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur coach Juande Ramos believes that Los Blancos should shade the Champions League quarter-final between the two clubs, but a lot depends on exactly what advantage Jose Mourinho’s side can take to White Hart Lane for the second leg.
Ramos, who managed Spurs from 2007 until 2008 and Real Madrid in the 2008/09 campaign, knows both teams well, and thinks Los Blancos’ bigger array of stars could also give them the edge.
"It is clear that Real Madrid have more stars, but at this level every tie is always close", said Ramos, now in charge of Ukrainian Premier League side Dnipro.
"Everything depends on the first leg and the advantage that Mourinho’s team can take to London."
