Having helped Villarreal to complete a 5-1 destruction of FC Twente in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final last night, striker Giuseppe Rossi admitted he does not know where he will end up in the summer.
Rossi has been attracting attention from a number of clubs and was the subject of a failed transfer deadline day bid from Tottenham Hotspur in January. Domestically Barcelona are seen as the frontrunners in the race for the 24-year-old’s signature and Rossi admits he has been approached by the Catalans.
"At the end of the season we’ll see", said Rossi post-match.
"Anything can happen because the market lasts for two months in the summer. In Spain I feel very well. I have been approached by Barcelona, but for now I think I will [focus on] closing the season well with Villarreal."
