Inter midfielder Thiago Silva has added his name to those calling for a swoop for Barcelona star Lionel Messi, gushing that he is sure one day the Argentina international will join the Nerazzurri.
While Silva admits that Messi may appear happy at Barcelona currently, that might not always be the case and in that situation he is sure the Ballon d’Or holder will choose to head to Milan.
"I am sure that Messi will play for Inter", Silva told Calcio 2000.
"Now he is happy at Barcelona, but if one day he has a difficult moment and decides to leave Barca, Inter will be his new club."
And the Brazilian hopes he is at the Nerazzurri long enough to see that day arrive.
"I hope to still be at Inter when he moves here."
