Reports from Germany suggest that Freiburg have set the price required to tempt them into selling highly rated Senegal striker Papiss Cisse.

The 25-year-old has been interesting several clubs, with Wolfsburg having a €12M bid turned down in the January transfer window. Serie A side Juventus are also thought to be monitoring developments, while from England, Arsenal and Fulham have kept a close eye on Cisse’s progress; Liverpool and Blackburn too could yet mount a bid.

And Freiburg will ask for a minimum of €15M for their striker, well aware that with Cisse under contract at the club until 2014, they are in a strong position from which to dictate the terms of his departure.

The striker himself is believed to be keen on a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Liverpool appealing. However, starting life a little further down the table with Blackburn or Fulham could be no bad thing and instantly hand Cisse regular first team football to impress.
