Marcello Lippi has left the door open for a return to Juventus. The coach who guided Italy to the World Cup in 2006, has been linked with several jobs outside his home country and has admitted that he is looking to manage abroad.
However Juventus, Lippi’s former club and a place where he enjoyed much success, are likely to be on the lookout for a new coach in the summer, with Luigi Delneri not expected to survive missing out on Champions League qualification. And so, there will be a vacancy in Turin.
"I recently said that I would like to get back to work and find a job abroad, not in Italy", said Lippi to Sky Sport Italia.
"That still stands, but I could make an exception for my former club Juventus. At present, I am not in touch with their club officials, but you can never say never."
Lippi would be a popular appointment in Turin, with the 63-year-old having led the club to five Serie A titles between 1995 and 2003, also winning the Champions League in 1996.
