Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola has urged his players to show common sense when they meet Real Madrid this evening. The Catalans hold a 2-0 lead from the first leg at the Bernabeu and are red hot favourites to dump Jose Mourinho’s side out of the Champions League, but the Barcelona coach believes his men must be sensible.
"We’ll have to attack", said Guardiola in the pre-match press conference when asked about how he would approach the game keeping in mind Barcelona’s 2-0 advantage, "but with common sense, just like the people expect where we come from.
"Tomorrow we can show what we are as a team. We have to dominate like we did at the Bernabeu. We have to be prepared because it will be terribly hard, from the footballing point of view and emotionally too."
And the Barcelona coach also pinpointed fast football as the key.
"We have to move the ball quickly, make it fly. I know that 100,000 fans at the ground will help us."
