La Liga side Sevilla have been linked with a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.
The Russian is thought to be available from White Hart Lane for the right price and with Spurs boss Harry Redknapp admitting to being keen to bring in another striker this summer, Pavlyuchenko could well be on his way out of the club.
Several sides from the player’s homeland can be expected to be heavily involved in any chase, but Sevilla may present the 29-year-old with an intriguing option to continue his career abroad.
The Spanish side are preparing to bid farewell to Frederic Kanoute and are running the rule over Pavlyuchenko. Sevilla have endured a disappointing season in La Liga by their own high standards, currently sitting in sixth and well adrift of the Champions League spots. New blood therefore is a priority for the summer transfer window.
